It is in CReME’s legitimate interest to process your personal data for the reasons outlined above. This processing shouldn't impact on you negatively and is necessary for our website to function correctly.

Search engine
Our website search is powered by Cloudflare + Wix. Search queries and results are logged anonymously to help us improve our website and search functionality. No user-specific data is collected by either us or any third party.

We use this data to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

How long do we keep your data?
Personally identifiable data that's used at a top level for the maintenance and upkeep of the website is held in your browser in the form of cookies, which you have control over. You may delete them at any time.


Data collected through your voluntary contact with us via our contact form will be held for 12 months. If you use our contact form to request membership of CReME, your name and contact details will be added to our membership list, held securely by the Secretary of CReME and not used for any other purpose apart from e-mailing you about CReME conferences, meetings and business. You can request your membership can be cancelled, and your personal details erased, at any time.
